Our Wedding

We met the way many couples do these days—online. But the twist? It was on JDate, the Jewish dating site. While that might seem like a natural fit for Mitch, who was raised Jewish, it could seem like an odd match for Donna, who’s Italian Catholic. But if you’ve ever tasted Donna’s gefilte fish and brisket, you’ll understand just how fitting it really was. Our first date was at Woodmont Grille, and it quickly became our place. We've celebrated every anniversary there for the past nine years—usually ordering the exact same meal (yes, we are creatures of habit!). We connected from the start and love the comfort of being able to be ourselves with one another. Donna has learned all about football (Go Ravens!), boating and the excitement of accounting. Mitch has experienced the joys of DC, Italian culture and New Haven pizza! Together we are loving our adventures in Annapolis. As we step into the next chapter of our journey—version 3.0—we’re thrilled to be celebrating it with all of you.

November in Annapolis is beautiful, and we're excited for you to experience it during our wedding weekend! We've put together a list of a few local spots that we think you will enjoy. Explore the Historic Maryland State HouseStep back in time with a visit to the Maryland State House. It is the oldest state capitol building still in use today. This was our nation's capital from 1783-1784, and it is where George Washington resigned his military commission. Immerse Yourself in the U.S. Naval AcademyCheck out the U.S. Naval Academy. Start your visit at the Armel-Leftwich Visitor Center. We recommend one of their guided walking tours which typically includes the Naval Academy Chapel and a visit to the crypt of Revolutionary War hero John Paul Jones. Wander through the William Paca House and GardenHead over to the William Paca House and Garden to visit the Georgian mansion that was once home to William Paca, one of the signers of the Declaration of Independence. Stroll Along City Dock &amp; Ego AlleyNo trip to Annapolis is complete without a stroll along City Dock &amp; Ego Alley. This is the heart of Annapolis's maritime scene. It is the perfect spot for a leisurely walk, some great people-watching, and just experiencing the waterfront atmosphere. We can't wait to celebrate with you!&nbsp;
