Things to Do

November in Annapolis is beautiful, and we're excited for you to experience it during our wedding weekend! We've put together a list of a few local spots that we think you will enjoy.

Explore the Historic Maryland State House

Step back in time with a visit to the Maryland State House. It is the oldest state capitol building still in use today. This was our nation's capital from 1783-1784, and it is where George Washington resigned his military commission.

Immerse Yourself in the U.S. Naval Academy

Check out the U.S. Naval Academy. Start your visit at the Armel-Leftwich Visitor Center. We recommend one of their guided walking tours which typically includes the Naval Academy Chapel and a visit to the crypt of Revolutionary War hero John Paul Jones.

Wander through the William Paca House and Garden

Head over to the William Paca House and Garden to visit the Georgian mansion that was once home to William Paca, one of the signers of the Declaration of Independence.

Stroll Along City Dock & Ego Alley

No trip to Annapolis is complete without a stroll along City Dock & Ego Alley. This is the heart of Annapolis's maritime scene. It is the perfect spot for a leisurely walk, some great people-watching, and just experiencing the waterfront atmosphere.

We can't wait to celebrate with you!
